The High Country Rodeo Association was founded to provide our community and our youth the opportunity to experience the western lifestyle many of us deeply treasure and cherish. There was a time when locals and visitors flocked to local arenas to compete or simply enjoy a rodeo. Unfortunately, over the last ten years we have had to travel many hours to live that life we adore. Riding, roping, responsibility of livestock, dedication, determination, failure, success, and the thrilling experience of an eight second bull ride is just a fraction of what rodeo and the western lifestyle has to offer. Most importantly it offers FAMILY.
